I'm walking this broken land, searching for the signs, I will uncover the past. II. Ash into dew, ruin to new; the seeds of life from within. Mountains shatter beneath my gaze, I won't back down. I will carry on until I die, mending the scars, fixing the gears of the great construct! III. I can't understand this universe, so give me a sign! "The Journey" is the first single released by the band back in 2014. It was the grinding stone that shaped us into a band. It contains all the different initial ideas of different people forming a band.

"The Journey" is a medley on a post-human Earth after a major societal collapse. The aim of the song was to capture the essence of internal mental change in a being that was left behind on the planet once inhabited by humanity.
